Initially focused on calculators, Casio launched its first watch, the Casiotron, in 1974. This digital wristwatch incorporated calculator technology and was the first of its kind to feature an automatic calendar that displayed the time, date, and day of the week. Today, Casio is still known for its classic, vintage-style watches as well as more technical models like the G-Shock, designed to withstand extreme conditions.
